Re: Kyocera KM C2525E scan to mail issue
Can you edit address book through webpage?
Do you have SMTP address?
Do you have Sender email address set up?
Does the SMTP require authentication?
Fill these above and then we can perhaps go further

Re: Kyocera KM C2525E scan to mail issue
Thanx Guys!!!! Ya both cables are connected. And i am able to access through GUI. i ll answer other things too
Can you edit address book through webpage? yes
Do you have SMTP address? yes we do
Do you have Sender email address set up? yes
Does the SMTP require authentication? yes (we never used authentication since everything was in same lan.)
i will explain more briefly. before all the Kyocera units were working fine. Data and printers were in the same vlan. Once we moved to new location it stopped working. in our current setup we have 2 vlans for data and printers. so both the interfaces are connected in printer vlan. i tried with enabling SMTP authentication. no luck. is there anything to do on exchange's side? so that i can ask exchange admin to check.Comment

Re: Kyocera KM C2525E scan to mail issue
hmm may sound silly :
Put the machine on DHCP and reboot it, then change to your IP settings and reboot again. This did help me few times.Comment

Re: Kyocera KM C2525E scan to mail issue
See if you can simply "ping SMTP" and record the ip address if it replies. Try using that one if it is different from the one you are using. Ping the SMTP hostname you are using now and record the address that replies. Try using the IP address instead of the host name. Make sure a valid email address is configured for the sender if authentication is required. Hope this helps.Comment
