    KM-2530 on AutoCAD

Hi, I would like to ask if anyone of you have tried printing AutoCAD files to KM-2530? One of our client uses AutoCAD. I'm not so familiar with that program. I think (maybe ) this involves a very big files and I have no idea if this machine can support it. Problem is that most of my KM machines don't have hard disk. We have encounter a problem (other brand copier) that when printing an AutoCAD file, it takes more than a minute for 1 file to finish.

Hope you can give some comments regarding this. Thank you.

Sorry I don't have the specs right now, but you're right on the mark. Start by maximizing your RAM memory, and adding a hard drive.

It also helps to use Kyocera's direct print utility. It seems to improve printing speed. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Install Printer driver ver.5.3 But still may be you encounter some problem to print Autocad Files.what you have to do is you have to change the properties for the printer. In device setting you will click on PDL and choose PCL 5e. probably you will feel change in printing Autocad.this model is older model and less memory.Only 32 Mb .adding a HDD sure you will get solution.Memory you can add up to 256 and total you will get 288mb.

Up to 5mb files will take only 10 to 20 seconds but if you will try to print larger files it will get delay for printing.

      Regards
