taskalpha 250ci (utax cdc 1725) toner density sensor

    hi all
was wondering if anyone has been able to source on of these sensors other than having to order the whole dev unit. Had a sensor blow on a magenta unit and had to rob it out of a new black unit, and now want to get it repaired other wise the unit is useless to me.
See the attached image for the sensors specs.
    thanks in advance

Instead of taking them from new units, why don't you take them from old units? Just swap them out before you send the old one in under warranty. That or take them out of dev units you plan to throw away...
But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.

I was thinking exactly the same thing while reading the opening post. I threw away four developing units last Thursday. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
