    Jam 80 KM3035 with DF-75 finisher

Paper will exit about 20 mm then jam. Tried a different exit assembly same problem. Found that if I push the delivery door in then the unit will operate just fine. Appears that the door is slightly bowed out causing the gears not to mesh properly and jam. Is this a common problem? Tried flexing the door back but no help there. Did not see where I can adjust the closure tighter so was thinking of putting some shims behind the exit roller assembly plate. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and effort in this matter.

Check the left hinge where it attaches to the copier. the shoulder screw will back out forcing the hinge to seperate from the copier slightly. You have to remove the feeder to retighten the screw.

Not on Falcon II ... but on Falcon III I've straightened out the left door on quite a few occasions. Usually it's the DF-710 finisher being latched to the door that pulls against the door, and momentarily opens the doorswitch. Or the actuator on the doorswitch may need some manual re-forming. The door doesn't look particularly malleable, but it will bend all the same.

To test, all you have to do is key the finisher interlock, then when the machine is ready just pull against the finisher latching bracket. Often it takes only the slightest effort to open the doorswitch. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will try them the next time I am over there!! I tried to reform the door but was worried about doing more damage! Glad to know that I have a little leeway!

        Have a great weekend!

Reformed the exit roller metal frame the holds the assembly in place and works fine now! Thanks for the information.

          Have a great day.
