This is a continuation of an earlier post, but a new problem. I would like to know if you guys are having problems with these boards. I had to replace an engine board on a brand new machine because it wouldn't recognize the bridge unit in the adapter kit. I eliminated everything else and ordered an engine board. When I put the new board in, I got a C-4101, which is an LSU code. I switched the old board back in, and I now have a C-F040, communication problem between engine and main boards. Each board is consistent, no matter what I do. I think I was sent a bad board, and the old one is developing more and more problems. Anyone else having issues like this? It's driving me nuts.

Re: CS-4550ci Engine board
I've never had to change one. Sorry, can say one way or the other. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re connect all connectors on PWR supply and all boards pretty much, then format the HDD.I had this issue once, and it was down to a loose connector. I would not be surprised if it threw different codes for different parts if the connection is loose or not proper.Keep us posted how is it going.Comment
