    CS-420I C2000

When copying ldr at 100% as soon as the lead edge reaches the exit it errors out. ltr no problem and get this when copying from ltr to ldr at 129% no problem. Also doesn't make a difference which paper source the ldr is feeding from tray 1,2 and MP. firmware is the latest.

Are the paper trays programmed to a specific paper size ... like letter?

    You have two choices:
    1) select Auto Inch
    2) select ledger for the tray you'd like to use.

    Either will do. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I've seen seizing drum unit cause that and could also be seizing press roller bearings.

Blackcat, I've tried both settings and still it will only feed ldr if zooming an original ltr to ldr at 129% if the original is also a ldr copying ldr to ldr at 100% it codes out c2000 no jam code and it doesn't matter whether it's tray 1,2 or MP ltr from all trays feeds fine.

Venom, if it's the drum seizing why does ltr multiple page run feed ok?

I appreciate your input just trying to get the most info as it's a 3 hour drive to the customer

I've seen 2 machines that intermittently threw c2000 codes and both times was drum was hard to turn, it was weird.

Print the release notes for the current firmware and print out the maintence report U000 and check to see if all the firmware actually loaded. I've had times where some parts loaded and some didn't and caused bizzare things.

Had a 420i throwing a C2000. After close inspection it was seized drum unit. It would run a few hundred pages then the C code would get thrown. First time I've ever seen a seized drum on a Copystar. I'd check to see if the drum moves without a lot of resistance. If it doesn't you have your answer.

Replace the drum. I have seen this also.
