NWFaxing problem with KM-2050 (driving me crazy)

At our old office I had network faxing set up so that all sent and received faxes were sent to the network fax utility running on my computer and then saved as PDF's on our server. This was a good thing.

Upon moving our KM-2050 to our new office we have a new ip address range and after changing all settings on the printer and utilities I'm still not able to get NWFaxing working again. I printed a report which shows me the problem but I'm at a loss as to where I fix this. Here's what I've got.

Old office had a 10.200.1.x network scheme.

New office has a 172.16.1.x network scheme.

Changed all the settings for the printer and fax module of the 2050 to be

    172.16.1.121 printer
    172.15.1.122 scanner
Question: is there a web gui for the fax? Thought it was only printer and scanner?

whe printing the NWFAx report on the printer it still shows a 10. address that I can't for the life of me find in any of the menu's and doesn't seem to clear by deleting and re-registering through the web gui.

Here's the lines that still show the old address on the printer screen (not the WEB GUI)

It's in a report called Network FAX setting List

    Network FAX RX ON
    Print Here ON
    Save Folder NO. 001
    File Name rx****_*******.pdf
Network FAX TX Report Output only be Condition
    Save TX Original ON
    Save Folder No. 001
    File Name tx****_******.pdf
    File Type PDF
IP Address or Host Name 10.200.1.16 <---- Here's where it's holding onto the old IP address. Can't find it anywhere in the menu's on the printer, an does NOT show up anywhere on the printer or scanner gui, including the registrations (which I have deleted and re-added a few times)

Just for kicks, I re-addressed my computer (which runs the network scanner utility) back to 10.200.1.16 and low and behold sending a fax DID transfer the PDF image to my computer. This means that this is most certinly my problem. Where do I find this value to change? It's driving me nuts.

    Please help

The menu item you're looking for is way down in the System Menu. It only appears in the menu when network fax is ON. It's 19 lines down the menu after Duplex Reception ON/OFF, "NW Fax Reception".

This is a really low resolution document, but it's what you're looking for:

      =^..^=
      Attached Files
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

        bsm2 had the correct answer...

With all the utilities, web gui's panel menu's I had lost touch with the fax editor software. Once I installed it I could finally see the setting I was referring to and once changed I was able to TX/RX faxes and have them go to the fax utility.

I have to say that KM did not do such a great job with these utilities. The help screens are mostly useless and there is no one document that gives any kind of idea as to how these utils all work together. I've managed to get everything working, but without the help of copytecnet I think I would have been at it for at least 2 more days... Thanks guys. I appreciate your help.

I've had exactly the same experience with other Kyocera utilies. 30% work as advertised, others to varying degrees, some not at all.

It's a good thing that the machines are mechanically sound.
