Olivetti 8000MF or KM 8000i Can't access Service Mode

    Hi there,

Rather strange issue I came across yesterday. Have a machine with C6600 and shredded fuser belt, replaced fuser and check for mod as per bulletins and yet, when I switch on machine does not go in to Service Mode tried all combinations with open or close doors or quick typing of 10871087 until it fully boots and gets to c6600 it just doesn't seem to work.. Even tried it with fuser taken out.

    Any insights?

    Motherboard??
.OK Google! ... will I need Berrocca this morning?

You did what I would have done in your place. Maybe try reloading firmware? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Update! I WROTE ONE ALREADY YESTERDAY.

      Have reloaded firmware,did not work.

Have disconnected HDD's booted and came with C0640 then I was able to enter Service Mode, and essentially reset fuser error after new fuser has been installed.

I think this is a safety feature in case clients is playing a smart ass and wants to fix the machine themselves in case they know how to enter Service Mode. In case there is a serious problem with fuser to overcome fire hazard etc.

So problem solved. Thanks to our support.
