    CS-C3225E Print Issues

Off lease machine recently refurbished, tested and placed at another customer site. New customer originally set up with universal print drivers, all formating was fine but ran into issues with fonts not printing correctly. Drivers were changed out to use the KX drivers, font issue resolved, however now having formating issues.....

Issue #1)User is printing a page of ads (for a newspaper layout) that is printing tiled over 3 sheets of 11x17, page one ok, page two slightly larger side to side, page 3 slightly larger than page 2. Lining up centered on the image, each next image is 1-2 mm larger than the previous page.

Issue #2)On same ad page, on the bottom of the page, some of the items are left off of the printed image

Attempted to print using different emulation settings with no apparent change. Customer is printing from QuarkXPress (not sure of exact version). Any suggestions?

How about converting the Quark output to PDF before printing, i.e. CutePDF?
You could also try changing print emulation.
Advanced print functions have a nasty way of over-riding other settings, like zoom for example.

I've struggled with similar issues with Microsoft Publisher. I got lucky in finding a downgrade driver version that solved my format problem. And no other format issues came up. Just a thought. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
