    FS-1320

Is there a different feed roller that may fit on the MP tray of the 1320?? The customer (hospital) has a fleet of this model that they use to print arm bands and are having a lot of jam issues. One side of the armband is glossy (slick) because it then turns over to clear coat the print after done. We have replaced the feed rollers and in at least one machine have replaced the feed solenoid but continue to have issues. We were thinking maybe a different feed roller (ribbed, softer compound, etc) may work better in this case if we could find one.... the armband sheets are self-laminating wristband PLS-101AXM by LaserBand, size of each sheet is 3"x11", thickness .006-.007 inch. Any suggestions

Glossy, non-standard sized media. And there's not a lot of extra space in there to get inventive. I wish you luck.

I'm sure there's a salesman somewhere that guarantees that these things will feed. You have my sympathy. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

the bad thing is they will feed... they have been using them for over a year now, and most of the time they work, however, it seems they go in cycles that several of them will stop working all at the same time... frustrating... I may have found a solution though, testing to see how long it works. I discovered that after cleaning the seperation pad, the issue was worse so I cut a piece of the glossy lamination from one of the armbands and stuck it back on the machine to cover the seperation pad, making it slick enough to feed with no jams and it still only allowed one at a time to feed... crossing my fingers this will work long term.
