[CQ] Copy star 2550 blank copies when using doc feeder

I have a copystar 2550 giving blank copies when you use the doc feeder.Under glass,prints,faxes all come out fine.
Did memory clear reinstalled adf harness, scanner is moving to home
Postion . Any ideas thanks .Paper is face up feeder

Is it completley blank? I have seen the mirror for the doc feed oxidize from heat causing the copy to come out very faded, close to blank.

I've never seen this problem on a 2550, but in the past this scenario has always involved the optics ribbon cable. Particularly where it flexes as the mirrors move. Maybe even the inverter PCB.

Does the scanner carridge move to the correct postion, ie, nothing obstructing it's path?
it sounds like a sort of problem i saw with a scanner lock on (different model).

wha happens when you put a copy in the doc feeder posistion and leave the doc feeder open, hold down the sensor and try do a sky shot copy.

Have you tried the auto settings in service mode???

Hey guys thanks for the help . There was something blocking the scanner on the rear side . Removed it.did a dp position adj. works fine.
