    KM-5035 J60 jams

Follow up call. I don't know what the first guy did. Since then there were 7 occurrences of J60, only duplexing letter.

I ran 200 duplex, no jams. (Why would it be easy?)
On exploratory examination I found a couple of dirty clutches (duplex and pre-registration), and the front transfer roller pressure spring was missing (I substituted a similar spring).

Once re-assembled I ran another 200 duplex letter, again no jams. I'm thinking the transfer roller spring was the most important.
Do you think I actually fixed something? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

    Yes Blackcat

I have seen this and caused it many times lol. The missing spring from the Transfer section causes jamming.
Sometimes a hard one to spot

    Well done

Time will tell. 7 jams in a week is not a huge problem IMHO. And there was no discernible quality issue. I suppose it takes only just minimal contact to transfer.

I'm glad someone else has seen it. Thanks. =^..^=
