    KM4050i to KM4050 conversion?

I want to be able to put a KM4050 toner into a KM4050i, what do I need to replace on the machine? And if you have the part numbers that would be awesome.

Don't get me wrong it's fun to pull the plugs and dump the toner between bottles, but i'd rather not.

    Thanks

I haven't done it myself, but here are the differences that I'm aware of:

The toner drive coupler is different. You can order it separately. You'll have to change the destination U265. To use Kyocera Mita toner set to 02, Copystar set to 66. The machine hostname will change. you can use the new one or change it. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Your right the only part that is different is the toner drive coupler PN:302GR31010

It's the only thing that needs to be replaced...rotten Ikon trying to make it proprietary toner.

Figured I'd include the part number encase anyone else needs it.

I'm glad it was that easy. =^..^=
