    KM 2530 series

What is the cause for copies to look under tone after installing new cartridge of toner; doesn't seem to make a difference whether toner in genuine or generic??? Was called out to install toner sometimes toner has to be installed before a test copy can be made other times not.
    Thanks!!!

Maybe the machine needs a new charge wire or grid. I put a new charge wire on these every 100k

There's not much to go wrong with these. If the prints are OK, maybe it's dirty optics. A dirty primary can do it, and aftermarket toner. The aftermarket toner is the most common culprit. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Generic toner for sure. Check other items also.

Common reasons for light copies...1)filters on right side of copier get clogged and toner hardens on the mag roll.
2)dirty laser slit glass 3)dirty optics using AE mode 4)transfer roller clip broke or spring missing5)generic toner
