    FS-C5200DN C and Y image problem

    Hello.

    I have problem with Kyocera FS-C5200DN. Status Page don't show Yellow and Cyan Toner and there is no Yellow and Cyan image on prints. It's just stopped printing C and Y colors in the middle of the job. I took off everything out like PCU's and Dev Units, cleaned laser shield, cleaned and swapped charging wires ( K with Y), i've done DEV-CLN, LSU/Charger Clean, Drum refresh, checked pins at PWB and Engine Board and nothing. Cyan and Yellow are on diffrent laser scanner motors.

    Total Counter is 40k, firmware 2HN_3000.006.003 2009.10.30

    Any ideas ?

    How to perform DEV-SET ? it asks for 6 HEX chars.

    the Dev Set is for when you replace the dev units. there will be a number on the parts box that you enter in for the unit.

      I had one that was missing one color, and it was because that the reg for that color was so far off that it was not printing that color. That being said, change the color reg for those colors one way then the other and see what happens.

        I've found that this is a developing section problem. The developing roller can't move and after manualy rotate roller colors are ok. So i manualy rotate few times for C, Y units and now print's are ok - don't know for how long ;]

          I think this is the same engine as the FS-C2626MFP. If it's the same, it won't last for long, maybe 2 or 3 weeks. My guess is that the developing unit stops replenishing toner for that specific color. I remove the cyan developing unit, squint at it and make my angry face. Then I put it back in and it replenishes. After two visits I ordered and replaced the cyan developing unit. So far OK (fingers crossed) ...
