Has anyone experienced being able to fax to local and long distance but NOT to a 800#??

Most Likely Problem Is They Phone Provider Or Telephone System -

On some phone systems the administrator can block all outgoing calls that begin with "1" or a prefix may have to be added before dialing the "1".I know what I know better than anyone else knows what I know.Comment

Yes, on some phone systems the admin can block certain prefixes.
=^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

99% chance that it's a Phone line/system problem. There is no setting in the machine to restrict what numbers someone can dial.Comment

At KMA's advice, we turned off the Ecm setting and it now works. Thanks for the help.Comment
