TaskAlfa - Scan to email - Date and Time Stamp

Does anyone know how, or if it is possible to add the TIME as well as the DATE to the document as it is being scanned?? I found the option for the BATE STAMP which has the option to add the DATE but nothing for TIME. I know that the time and date can be added to the file name, but I need to have the information auto printed when the PDF is printed out. Here's the scenario: Due to faxing issues, our Client is wanting to set up scan to email, once the email is received, it will be automatically printed on the other end... since these are time sensitive documents, they need to be time stamped so they know when they were received. Any suggestions?

Are you sure it isn't already time stamped? I know the Knoica Minolta's are, and I thought that the Kyocera's were also. So what sort of a document name are you getting?

Technically the date/time stamp will specify the time that it's scanned, not the time it is received. In most cases that will be within a few minutes, but I know of a few specific cases when there was a difference of 20 to 48 hours. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

When a PDF file is created (just like with any other file) the date and time are recorded. Just look under the file properties, it should be in there somewhere.
But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.

Yes, on the file properties it does get the date and time, my problem is they need it to be on the actual document so that when it is printed out it shows the date and time.
