I have set up many of these with little to no problems so this one is really cranking my tractor... Configured the scanner file utility, checked firewall settings, everything just as normal, test ok... go to demonstrate to user, connection to pc failure, recheck settings, no help. Delete everything and start over... initial test ok, second test failure again....
Initial thought may have been to fact that user has wifi and lan connections going so disabled wifi but did not help (scan on lan connection). Recommended user swap out switch but not sure what else can cause initial connection to flow ok only to fail on second connection.... I did check for IP conflicts as well but found nothing to indicate a problem there.
