Customer's FS-C2026 brought in to shop for repairs. Original issue "replace black and yellow toner" Installed latest firmware,replaced black and yellow developer same problem. Eventually found toner auger for transfer belt was not turning due to gear broken so toner not being added to developer.Replaced transfer belt, machine now asking for yellow toner.Changed yellow toner same result. Any suggestions.

Hi, check that the toner opening at the end of the toner cartridge. make sure it is aligned, see bulletin

Take the toners out and open and close the top cover. Watch to see if the toner couplers are going in and out. They have to come out to drive the toner container. If they are not comming out, you have a problem.Comment

Remove the developer unit and manually add a small amount of toner directly into it, tap the developer unit several times and manually engage the drive gear while adding a little more toner.
Refit and try, don't ask why but it works for me, that's obviously after checking that the toner is leaving the cartridge, through the transfer unit into the developer unitComment

Take the toner out, open and close the top cover, if the couplers on the left side are not moving in and out, RUN.Comment
