Re: kyocera 400ci
I would guess damp paper given the jam location (right after the fuser) and the whole "first thing in the morning, then fine the rest of the day" thing. But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.

Re: kyocera 400ci
Two things I've seen:
1) On one I replaced the JS-720 assy. On previous visits I had changed out the exit assy, and all the sensors in the job separator without success.
2) On another I identified a power quality problem. After many visits and no clear cause, I started by connecting the power quality analyzer, then began running the machine. Each J51 jam was accompanied by a sag of 10vac and a ground to neutral surge of 5.6vac. The best clue of all was when a page passed completely from the machine into the finisher tray, then 5 seconds later pulled a J51.
=^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
