    cs-c3232

I am having a squeal on the machine but not all the time. It mainly happens when the machine is finishing a job. I have tried maintence mode 30 and ran all the motors and can not get the squeal to reproduce. Does anyone know what motor runs last on the machine where i could try to narrow it down as to what gear box that i may have the problem.

    thanks,

    Kirk

the fixing drive will be the last running drive mechanism. the noise ,which you are getting ...its coming from fixing unit... may be the bearings or the thermostat will be the reason behind this noise.... so many modifications and bulletins are available for this model....replacement of fixing unit may be required.....
the worst thing is after replacement.... you will get more noise from fixing unit.....
      best of luck.........

I think this is the one you're looking for.

Chirping noise, intermittently, during final rotations. Most noticeable when latch B1 and inner transport are closed. Seems to come from fan grill behind pickup drive. The Paper Conveying Clutch (PCCL) shaft chirps against the inner bushing that drives guide B1. It won't demonstrate chirp in sim 030: Conveying Motor, because the PCCL is not engaged at that time. Lubricate the inner bushing (w/coupler gear) on the PCCL shaft, accessible from the left door. Look on the rear frame near guide B1.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
