Paper tray out of order KM5035

I've read the posts about lift motors and engine boards. My problem is it gives this message for all 3 trays. All went out at the same time. Bypass still works. Question is this; if engine board goes will it knock out all of the tray controls on the engine board or just one at a time? I've done the reset with no result.

    Unusual, sure. Not impossible.

What I would do is unplug all the lift motors, then meter the connector to see if your getting 24vdc. If I were a gambling man I'd bet that you have lost the 24vdc, and the ground switching is still working. Check each lead to frame ground.

Not that it's a critical difference, because it still leads you back to the engine PWB. I suppose you could check the 24vdc inputs to the engine PWB, to make sure that the 24v is being supplied by the PS. Just to be safe, I think I'd also change the lift motors in the same operation. It would be a shame to blow another engine PWB. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
