    FS-2126 copy quality

Have already replaced developer and swapped drums around - only K is being affected in solid areas. The pattern is seemingly random and is intermittent. What causes this pattern? I have in my head that it looks like a charge/arcing problem. Could be transfer belt. Anyone experience this before?

Oh yeah. Definitely primary charge. Look for a repeating pattern at 32.5mm intervals. I've resolved this problem by just re-seating the primary charge roller, but you may need to replace. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Machine received new drums and developers - problem came back. Isn't the charge roller on the drum unit? Unfamiliar with this small of a machine.

Solution: Replacing the High Voltage power supply (I'm guessing it was arcing on the frame somewhere).

just a note on this range of machines.

If you remove the right cover you can dislodge the clips at the front of the machine that hold back the HV pcb!
You have to slide that cover forward.

if you are not working on that pcb when you put the cover back you can get light prints or other issues as that is where the TX belt bias springs are.
