I have a customer that states that their machine jams first copy every morning and then after that it works fine. They have the 3000 sheet drawer but can not tell me what drawer it jams out of more. I asked them to test each drawer on separate days and let me know what happens. I checked the jam counts and found 212 jam 51, already replaced the exit and fuser units. Any ideas.

Re: Taskalfa 400CI Jam first copy every morning
Does the machine have a job separator? There is a tech bulletin for the rollers in these. This might be something to check into. Also look for toner build up above the fuser unit. You said the exit unit was replaced so it probably has the new style one, so it probably has the metal guard with to help from keeping the gear getting wallowed out."In a cruel and evil world, being cynical can allow you to get some entertainment out of it."

I have resolved this issue by replacing the tires in the paper drawers.Comment

Re: Taskalfa 400CI Jam first copy every morning
On two machines after replacing exit assy, fuser, then job separator sensors and rollers, I replaced the job separator assembly to resolve the problem. Watch through the paper through the slot as it passes into the finisher. If by some miracle you actually see it happen, you'll see the paper slow down significantly before jamming. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: Taskalfa 400CI Jam first copy every morning
There is a solenoid that operates the entry guide--303JY44060 Solenoid Divergence--that might be bad. We had a problem like that and the solenoid was the answer.

Re: Taskalfa 400CI Jam first copy every morning
How it could be this solenoid if the paper jammed in the exit (j51) and not between the machine and finisher (entry DF-760)?
I saw in the manual there are 2 of this solenoids with part nr 303JY44060. You changed both?
