    [Misc] Best brand

    Hi all

I'm looking to start a new activity with copiers.

Actually i'm techinician employee in a little private company, and i work only with RICOH and few Canon.

Before starts my new business, i want to learn more about others brands for help me to decide if i'll continue with ricoh or i'll go to another brand.

The new brands which i think are: CANON, KONICA MINOLTA or XEROX.

    So, what do you suggest?

    Take care

I am pretty sure most people will tell you how what they work on is the best. I work on Konica Minolta mostly and lucky for me they are the best.

I sell more Konica-Minolta & Ricoh copier manuals than any other brands.

As a small time Indy (independent dealer) I think you'll have difficulty making the sales quotas on any of those brands (Canon, Konica Minolta, Xerox). I think you'll find that Copystar or Kyocera would have a more manageable sales quota. Having worked on 9 or 10 brands at one time or another as dealer, I can honestly say all manufacturers have good products and bad products. If you look intelligently at the offerings, and carefully pick & choose, you can do alright with almost any brand.

The most successful Indy's I know pick a couple specific models known for reliability, focusing on 4 or 5 models across the speed ranges, not necessarily the same manufacturer.

Was that too general to be useful? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
