Pin holes in ta 250ci drum surface...

    Hai...

we are facing a copy quality issue in Taskalfa 250,300.400and 500Ci machines...frequently we are changing drum units for pin holes problem...not even crossing 100k prints.... new Fw updated....the cassette heaters turned on...did the adjustments which is attached with the new drum unit kit ...
we noticed some points...this problem arrives, where we updated the new firmware ie: with the Pantone symbol.we have some machine in the field with the old firmware... its working fine, up-to today with out any pin holes issues....when we upload the new firmware ,after replacing developer .drum or transfer belt....then the pin hole problem starts....
is there any solution for this issue...any problem with the new firmwares....
we are working at middle east countries... here the summer temperature will be nearly 40-50 Celsius and the humidity level also will be high...is there any necessary to turn on the cassette heater?...any other settings to be adjusted?...

Supposedly the new style primary charge rollers solve this issue. I can't be absolutely sure about that though, since my Saturn machines are all at various states of drum revision. I think there are now 11 versions of the drum unit, and I wouldn't be a bit surprised if there were more to come.

Can you image the costs if I were to replace en-mass every drum unit that was not at the most current revision? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      I agree blockcat....
how we are going to face the customer,if the drum unit ,not crossing its rated life..not even half.... if its a mono machine .at least we can adjust the xposure or any other HV setting ...but for colour nothing will work....

      critical situation.....
