[Error Code] TASKalfa 5500i F247 Error

I noted service bulletin C084-2LC-0072 as I have a machine showing this error.
Has anyone else had this issue and did a HDD format resolve it?
Of course in my case it happens to be on a machine 300 miles away.

It would be prudent to take a hd and firmware with you. Sometimes the hd will not recover from the format. The format will also wipe out the address book and custom settings.

Just replaced a HDD on one last week for that error. Hopefully you got yours going.

Just got back from the customer site yesterday.
HDD reformatting resolved the issue by following the bulletin outlined above.

is there a way you can post a copy of the service bulletin?
I tried downloading it off kdaconnect but it keeps giving me a out of memory error when I click on it.

I just tried to download as well and I also get the error message on the knowledgebase. I will try and track down another way.

I personally have tried all the procedures given by kyocera but if it starts to give the defect remains that mark. the fw and replace hdd

My F247 (albeit with a TA 3550ci) was quickly resolved with a new HDD.....
