[Misc] Light Images TaskAlfa 300ci

Good morning, as the title says this machine is giving light images for both printing and copying but only for black, color comes out fine.
We've changed out the Black DV, twice, the Black Drum and also the TB high voltage unit.
Tech Support is pretty much as lost as the next part or step to correct the issue, any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm not too familiar with that model...but,
is it possible that there is a separate print density setting for monochrome print ?

There is but the density is set to the highest it will allow and still little to no image on black and white. There is plenty of toner in the machine as well.

Normal print density on the Kyocera printers I deal with is 3
Try at setting 3 ( just for the fun of it )

Look at service mode 155, select toner sensor and execute. The values should be close to 500 while running. If not replace the developer that is very high or low. Also varifie that the motors rotate.

The Developer has been changed twice already, within one week of each other, though the values for U155 are low for both cyan and black. And the motors do rotate.

Also check the metal contacts on the tbelt assy . The contact can become damaged and not connect to the spring contact on the hvt.

Yeah, sounds like a bad tranny belt.

Can you stall the machine with a developed image on the transfer belt?

If black is present, it's a secondary transfer issue.
If there is poor black developing it could be primary transfer, developing ... or something else.

try to do mono color copy of a dark original ...like cyan ,magenta....green,red color copy...if black is the only problem..may be the laser unit has to checked...clean the polygon motor....may be this will solve ur problem....

Are you using OEM toner?

hi, check the laser glass under the black drum. also it could be the laser unit . i have seen machines
where the cleaning (cleaning blade) did not work.
