    KM2525E scanner issue??

Hi, anyone seen this before.I have attached images of copies from the scanner of km2525e.I printed a u89 colour band from internal so I know this is a scanner issue. Also the issue is the same when copying from doc feed.I should have done a reduction/enlargement to see if that changed anything but alas.
Also cleaned under the white reference plate. I can't see anything in the manual to adjust/reset the scanner quality bar the user adjusment.
Anyone seen anything like this before I start taking this on??
    Cheers.

    Re: KM2525E scanner issue??

    I'm assuming that this is a KM-C2525E.

I'd start by cleaning the white level reference. Next try changing the shading position, that is, the position that the scanner sits when viewing the white level reference. If there is a scar or discoloration of the white reference, sometimes you can work around it just by changing the shading position.

As always, do a full calibration after these adjustments. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
