Kyocera Taskalf 520i unable to recgnize on the network

Help Anybody have any suggeations!

I have a Kyocera Taskalf 520i unable to recognize on the network, I've replaced the main PWA board. The copier works but cannot send email. When you do a network print out page the Mac address is all ff ff ff ff ff ff, it doesn't seem to mater which board the new one does this also!

Have you reformatted the Hard drive?
i had that problem and I fixed with service mode 24 and 20 and i haven't heard from them.

End ed up being the eprom on the main PWA board, a Kyocera rep has to reload the eprom, thsi is were total count is store & mac address

The Kyocera rep came out today & reload the eprom, he reloaded the software on the eprom & now it works!


He said that this is the first time he's seen this on this model!

I have the same problem on one. I just ended up setting up folders to scan to. It took me a bit to narrow it down, but I finally traced it to scan to email. If I went to the command center, I could make the machine drop off the network with the exception of pinging it. Nice to know if I want to fix it correctly. Thanks for the update.
