Hi all - new to the board. Having issues with stapling (printing) from a Windows 7 Lenovo laptop. The default windows driver left a lot to be desired with options for stapling. Contacted Kyocera support and they had me install KX Driver ver 6.0.2212. As promised the stapling options are much easier to use BUT there is a conflict on the stapling option so I can't select anything. I changed no settings right from install and I'm given no indication of what the conflict is. I only have two paper tray options (automatic, and top face up). Not sure but it seems like there were more before. This machine is oddly networked so I have to set the IP manually because its on a different subnet. Other then the punch unit, which also seems to have conflicts, the features appear fine and we can print successfully using the driver. I can't find any documentation on this. Any ideas?

Re: Stapling issue with printer driver taskalfia 300ci
I suspect you have not configured the driver to the existing accessories. From driver Properties, select the Device tab. First try AutoConfigure. If successful the accessories will appear in the pictorial representation of the machine. If unsuccessful, manually select the appropriate check boxes for the accessories, then Apply, and OK. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
