Angel or Devil, which am I today ...

I got a message to call back a customer today. Customer wants to know how to duplex copy. So I call ...

It turns out that it's not duplex copying that she wants, it's scanning of two-sided originals. I look up the exact button sequence, then get this response: "Oh, I found that ... but I don't want my scan duplexed. Besides, i don't think I have the right software to view a duplexed scan.

In the ensuing silence the little devil blackcat whispered in my ear this response: "Oh, we sell a special monitor to view duplexed scans. It's got an LCD display on both sides, and it's mounted on a lazy susan, so you can rotate it to see the other side."

In the end however, the little angel blackcat prevailed: "No, it's duplex scan that you want. It will take two-sided originals then create one sided electronic images." She laughed then said: "Well thank you for a good laugh."

I guess that was the right response. Damn that little devil, tempting me so. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Once you start doubting, know for sure that you are not what you will choose to be.

"you don't know the power of the dark side", sorry it is the 30th anniversary of Star Wars had to throw it in.
Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.
