[Misc] FS1118MFP - Problem printing and photocopying.

I have following problem sending you to print or copy.

When you send a job to the printer that prints the sheet shifted down.
    Example: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hacks07zxi...2013194414.pdf

When the sheet comes out, may occur following cases
    wrong printed sheet
wrong printed sheet + jam message without it stuck.
wrong printed sheet + jam + jam message in the paper exit.

(Jam message: "Paper Jam in printer JAM40" photo mistake -> https://www.dropbox.com/s/r8z49hmbtj...512_203542.jpg)

The strange thing is that sometimes if it prints well.

    Thanks

Agree, registration clutch faulty, it is the one in the middle of the 3 in the clutch pack.

To test the clutch take it off hold each end and turn it, it should turn freely one way and be solid the other.
if it slips on the side that is meant to be tight it is the clutch, you can clean it and on the lug that is on the big gear that fits in the spring you can put one turn of Sellotape and do not overlap it to much as it will cause a knocking noise this will solve your clutch issue. Done this and got one back with more than 104 k and still solid.
If not the clutch then faulty solenoid rare but happens

I'm with madas on this one. Delayed image can be caused by slow pickup or registration clutch. It also fits with the jam conditions you describe. First, the paper is never picked up, thusly you won't find jammed paper. Second, Due to the small size of the machine and loose jam detection criterion, a piece of paper that is picked up late will get all the way to the fuser before the machine determines it's a jam.

If you have an alternate paper source, I'd try feeding from the other paper feed. I think you'll find it doesn't jam. If you narrowed it down to a single paper source, clean or replace rollers, and check the clutches and/or solenoids. Sorry I can't be more specific. I've never worked on this specific Kyocera.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Rarely but it does happen the solonoid fails or the foam pad under the lever comes off and leaves a sticky residue that can hold the lever for a moment and gives the similar rego fault
