    DF-790 on 8000i

    Have a df 790 that squeaks bad at the main tray exit roller after about a 100 copies and then it want shut up,select any other exit tray and no noise. Being the service manual on this puppy dosen't give much in a way of taking it a part and before i attempt to take it part has anybody had this
    noise and any parts need before i rip it apart.

    dissasembly not too bad. lube the white rollers. this is common.

      This applies to pretty much any Kyocera finisher. Look for white rollers. Lightly lubricate. Run a bunch of paper to run off any excess oil. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

        Thanks guys i will tackle it tomorrow and see how far i will take it down,
        if their any special lube you guys use without having to tear it
        completey apart let me know.
