    KM-3520 C2000

    I am getting mixed results on this when i google the error, some say its the main motor, others seem to feel its the scanner/laser assy. Not sure whats what. this error had appeared on this customer's machine before, all i did was unplug it for a while from the wall voltage and reseated just about every connector i could find, also rotated all the mototrsd i could find, then it worked for the past for the last year and half, now the error is back, not sure where to go from here, any help would be vey appreciated, thank you

      I am not sure what a 3520 is but when some of the older kyoceras would pull a c2000 code. It could be that the side door interlock is not making contact properly. I had a 420i with a c2000 it needed a new drum unit.

          I'm fairly sure there isn't a KM-3520. This is either an imaginary copier or maybe a KM-2530. =^..^=
          If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

              it have reason on km2530 and km 3530 etc.
              switch interlock damaged or may be corrosion of cable contact plate.
              Black is Kyocera , Color is Gestetner.

                  sorry about that, typpe-o. it is a km-3530. with the C2000 service error.

                          Check the fuser and drum can turn by hand, maybe one is seized
