[Misc] Kyocera 4050 windows 7 print and scan problem

    Hello Guys,

I have a kyocera km-4050 model photocopy. Windows XP is successful in the printing and scanning.
But it does not print and scan in windows 7 or 8. I installed the drivers up to date. But it did not. I called Authorized Service. They say ''Need to update the Kyocera 4050''. But could not. I want to upgrade the software on the kyocera 4050. Please help me.
    Thank you. Good work.

Several questions here.... what are the errors you are getting when trying to scan and or print??? What was the problem trying to update the 4050?? I am assuming by your post that you are not an authorized service tech so do not have access to the manuals and or firmware you would need.. Based on the answers to my first question, I may or may not be able to help you. If you do in fact need to update the firmware, you will need an authorized technician to install that for you, installing the wrong firmware or doing it incorrectly could turn your copier into a very large paper weight.

There are no errors. But I do not have no printing and scanning.
Competent technical staff he said '' the old firmware version, need to install the new version''
Competent technical staff could not update the firmware. How do I? Thanks
