    CS 3040 C 6000

    Hi All, I have a 6000 code on this machine, the main thermistor looked rough so i replaced both, lamp good, fuses good. Reset after putting it back in and now the touch screen wont respond, so no reset. I updated the firmware and it started to work and i reset the code, but the code came right back and the touch went out again. so i brought it in and was woundering if i could get some help....

          How did you reset the error? Fuser errors are unique in that you can only reset them in sim U163. =^..^=
          If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                  I cant reset due to the fact the op panel dont respond.

                      There is a bulletin regarding the tablet, could just be a coincidence that it went out at same time. SB-8645

                                  At the KDA page, tech resourses/ knowlege base/ QA/ type 8645. I would have emailed but it would not attach the file.

                                      Order Part number 302FB25191 Tablet Operation (Touch Screen) $54.80 From Kyocera and be done with it. Common problem with many units over the past years.

                                          I went back to kma and found it, thanks to your help.

                                          I may just order the touch screen like kkendric said,
