Have a Kyocera FSC5300 Colour printer with patchy colour copies. Put new toners in and run varior utilities ie colour recalibration, laser clean and dev clean, slight improvment but still patch/fient on test copies any ideas have to improve toner coverage on dev roller

How many prints ?
What media are they printing ?
Have you up-dated the Frimwar ?
Make sure all the springs on the Dv units are making good contact , check ALL the Bias tabs.
Look at Tech Bulletin # 3 for the FS-C5150DN / C5250DN to see if this will help ."The Serenity Prayer" . . .

Can you upload a sample. Try the built in test page from the service menu. From your description I can't tell if it only happens with certain colors or what it looks like to give an opinion. Besides dirty contacts it could be one or more of the drums, dev units, transfer belt, transfer foller, transfer belt, fuser. Sometimes you can see an impression of a particular defect on the transfer belt or other component rollers indicating the problem. Knowing if it is certain colors help eliminate certain components. Eliminating items is the best way start troubleshooting.Comment
