FS-C1020MFP *** Error Code SC543

Hello folks,

I have Problem with my Kyo FS-C1020MFP. The last few weeks it was very warm in Germany and my Printer started to show the error code SC543. Some research showed that the fuser unit should be causing the error - we replaced the fuser, but the error still appears and the printer still doesn't work. I looked for a way to reset the error code, but without any luck so far. Does anyone know how to reset the error status? Maybe the printer went into some kind of maintenance mode that has to be disabled? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Service manual calls for replacing the engine board for this code (EGB), followed by entering the Engine Maintenance Menu to recover or the SC code will continue to make the machine inoperable. I do not have this machine, but I do not think the Sim 163 applies to this machine.

Nope, these are a Ricoh machine with Kyocera covers. You might have to replace the fuser.
