    KM-4035 tray 1 message "paper drawer out of order"

    swapped lift motors and both motors are good. I switched connector form tray 1 lift motor to tray 2 lift motor and tray 2 still worked. Swapped trays and tray 1 works in tray 2 position. Is it tray connection for tray 1? If board problem wouldn't tray 1 have worked when lift connectors were swapped? Any help is very much appreciated. Frank/ActionPhotocopy

          sim 906 is on most of the KM machine for the last 10 years at least. Remember it. Restores parts of the machine that is not working. Good to know.

              Thanks bill.It is hard to believe that today was the first time I heard of it and never had the opportunity in previous calls to use it. Good to know it's various problems and not just trayproblem I ahve been servicing too many makes and model A sort of Jack of all 'trays'. Frank

                  Don't feel bad about not knowing that code. We serviced a Mita DC-1860 and the lower tray would not work. Did everything you did. Replaced boards and all sorts of things. Then someone said try sim 906. DANM, that fixed it. 6 hours of screwing around and we only had to do 1 minute of work if we would have known. Live and learn. I almost know it all now. LOL.

                      Thanks Bill. It's funny you should mention DC1860 as I was at one today with a Jamex coin-op. It needs fuser unit or at least rollers and lamp. May need drum as well. Some not available . Exploring other possibilities like another machine I can hook up Jamex coin-op to if can't get what I need or too expensive. Frank

                          I said sim 906 but it was 96 on the DC-1860. Same thing. Reset disable function . But anyway, good luck with getting parts for that one.

                              this simulation is always forst to use if customer say that he got 3 time in row jam like 3 time jam of duplex or paper feed then machine block this option even if its default option like I paper feed.
