    CS300Ci C7101 code

    posted September 20, 2013 02:35 PM

The C7101 is coming up because the black toner sensor shows 1023 in MM155. No variation at all. The color toner sensors all read in the high 400's,
but they change a little during the MM155 run. The Black toner sensor doesn't fluctuate at all.

So far I've replaced the black dev motor and cleaning motor, the black dev unit, the engine board and the front pwb that the devs plug into.

I've watched the dev augers turn in MM155 while the hopper unit is off the machine, so I know the black dev is turning. Just bugs me that the black
toner sensor doesn't seem to be reading at all.

    Any other ideas?

The only other logical thing I don't see in your list is the main drive pack. That'll be fun for you. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

We've had a couple of these drive packs with problems recently.

I ran MM155 with the toner supply section off of the machine and can see the developer unit augers running normally.

Thing is I still get no variation on the toner sensor value while MM155 is running and the augers are turning. Can't quite figure this one out.

Turns out the first new black dev unit I installed was as bad as the original.

Went back out today and tried a different new black dev and the problem cleared right up.
