quick question...fuser/fixing unit 420 i compatability

    quick question...fuser/fixing unit 420 i compatability

    here we go..another crazy work week! anybody know what fixing unit i can swap into a down 420i.. i hv 300i/3060/5035 fusers.. tech support says "if the parts number different blah blah blah"

    if we obeyed all the rules , we'd miss all the fun!

    You should listen to tech support, try an FK-720 (p/n:302KS93013)

      thx...2 days before i can get the proper Fk720 from Kyocera Irvine !

        So what is the problem with the fuser. Lamp out, thermistor?? The fuser might not be the same but a lamp might be. Can you do a quick repair to get the machine working untell your fuser shows up?

          snapped its gears catastrophically!
          i'll wait for right fusing unit... i suppose i'd never be sure if electrically the thermistors/thermostats would be a match
