Binder Minder on New Machines ? (4501i)

We have a bid for seven machines needing to copy books. So were thinking using 4501i's anybody tried this yet with Binder Minder or anything else that can do books on platen ? Was told Kyocera not letting them have machine so would need adapt another models to work or ship them machine so they can do it for us. I'm hoping someone has some insight on this. I put one on once about 4 years ago and wasn't all that impressed but far as I know its only thing out there.

Unless the Binder Minder has undergone a complete overhaul, I would not mount it on any copier, especially a color copier. You're almost guaranteed badly focused images toward the trail edge of ledger. Letter sized originals will only be blurry and dark at the trailing corners.

The bonus is the heavy gray, brown, or blue background color. The Sharp color machines that I installed these on would not complete a color calibration. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
