    kyocera KM 4050 freezes

When I boot the machine takes a long time to become ready then responds very slow to commands on both touch screen and hard keys. Then after a few minutes it locks up.

What level of firmware are you at? This issue has been solved by firmware ... about 6 years ago. Current level is 2.45a

And no I won't be providing it. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Yeah I had a Copystar 2560 with the same kind of problems. Updated firmware did the trick.
