Typically there is a simulation to calibrate the width VR. What the machine does is store values for two positions. I'll see if I can find the sim for you. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I am still wondering if someone knows how to reset the VR numerical numbers for the SRDF2. The doc feeder does not read 8.5x11 paper. When sidrails are move they rewad form 144 to 256 when they should read 49 to 256.

That VR is supposed to vary from 49 when closed to 256 fully open.
At 8 1/2" width you should be seeing 50 to 146
At 11" width you should be seeing 197.632 to 197.720
It's common for those VRs to develop corrosion, and when you slide the guides outward the values can jump around, or drop off completely. You'll probably end up replacing the VR. On this model, I don't see a sim to calibrate the VR.
