Apparently a paper feed motor problem. The paper feed motor runs fine in sim mode but error code comes up after 10 seconds or so.I have tried the motor from the bottom 2 trays still the same.Re connected the connectors on control board still the same. The ribbon cable are way too small to check for continuity so Im sort of leaning towards the ribbon cable. Checked the gearbox and the clutches, nothing sticking all running fine.Any one else had something similar?

Re: Taskalfa 5501 c2550 error code
If it runs in simulation mode, I would not blame the ribbon. I would think you've got am over-current condition because:
1) the motor is overloaded: drive too difficult to turn.
or 2) the motor is drawing too much current due to motor failure.
If you can do it, I would remove the motor but leave it connected electrically. If it turns and doesn't error immediately look at the drive. If it does not turn look at the motor.
=^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
