    Kyocera FS-1370DN Command Center password

I've bought a used Kyocera FS-1370DN printer. The Command center's password is missing. I've already tried the admin00, Admin00, etc. passwords without any success.

Is there any way to reset this unknown password?

Re: Kyocera FS-1370DN Command Center password

The password for the FS-1370 is defaulted to: no authentication

The best solution is to find the jerk that changed the authentication setting, and have that person enter the password.
Second choice: Engine Reset PreSribe command.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: Kyocera FS-1370DN Command Center password

This printer is coming from another country, so it's impossible to find who changed the password.

Of course, I tried to log in with blank password: no success

I also tried the engine reset ( !R! EGRE;EXIT; ) over telnet (port 9100), and with GCC File Send Utility, but nothing happens.
The DATA led is blinking, "Processing" message on the display for couple of minutes.

Re: Kyocera FS-1370DN Command Center password

Is the command center password changed along with the RUI admin password?..I don't know, I don't use the command center.

This might be worth a go.

Find Ip address of printer and log into the RUI.

                    Login as admin "admin00"

Then look for advanced and reset to defaults.
                    Restart the printer

                    Good Luck.

Sorry mate ignore that post RUI is what some manufacturers call Remote User Interface, Kyocera call RUI = Command Center.

There must be some way of resetting this without ordering a new main board...

There was a tool by Kyocera called resetlan.exe,

                        You can find it here

                            edit - Jumper:
                            I've also tried it.
Ther is no jumper on the 1370DN's mainboard, and the network "card" is not removable. The interface integrated to the mainboard.
