    Dark print on FS-1135MFP

I have problems With some Olivetti d-copia 3504MF (FS-1135MFP) machines.
I get a dark background and it looks like it comes from the drum unit.
When i changes the drum unit its back to normal again, but dark background comes back after ca 1000 prints.

The funny thing is that i only have this problem at Medical Offices.
I don't know if thats just random.

Have any of you had this problem?

Looks like poor drum cleaning. Are you using generic toner? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I've seen this in medial/pharmacy environments too (genuine toner, proper handling and all that). I had the same issue with FS-1300D, FS-1320D and FS-1370DN. These machines work in rather sterile environments and that specific "atmosphere" is causing this. You can test it for yourself, take the machine to your place and leave it on the desk for an hour or too, print the status page than and there won't be any issues with print quality. The problem is the waste toner cleaning blade on drum that can't really clean it in these environments. You could replace drum unit, but it will come back again at some point. Basically there's no solution for this, unless you move the machine out of that environment.

          Thanx for the answers.
It's good to know that others have the same problem.

            An update on this issue.

If you get this issue in an non medical/pharmacy environments, check for the air conditioning in the room that device is operating in (it's bad if it's placed directly above or below the device). Just had one fairly new FS-1135MFP (about 2k prints) that was getting dirty prints due to near air condition, and moved it to a different corner of the room. Waiting for a few days to see how it goes.

Hi, we also have a lot of machines with that type of drum units (DK-150 DK-170) and also have problems like in the example from 1st post. Air conditions is not the problem because when we change new drum unit the problem is solved. Interesting thing that when you print a lot of pages with old unit problem is solving, but If You turn of the machine for the night, next day morning the problem renews. I have only explanation of that problem: drum discharge.
