I'm installing all the mods for the toner empty issue. Have the ratchet shutters installed & now the right hinge will not raise. Anybody ever done this?

Re: Kyocera FS-C2626MPS
I've replaced the hinge/sector gear before. Most likely it's out of time. If you noticed during assembly there is a 6mm round hole through both the sector gear, and the rack gear it mates with. When the hinge is all the way up you should be able to look right through both holes simultaneously.
I'll bet you're hoping for a really simple way to correct this. Unfortunately it's just like doing the whole job over again. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: Kyocera FS-C2626MPS
How about the left hinge? I serves two purposes:
1) It operates the primary transfer belt sensor covers. Is the mylar strip properly routed, and open the sensor cover when the left hinge moves?
2) It engages the toner feed drive to the toner cartridges. Is the left hinge also timed properly? Same 6mm hole.
