    KM-5035 can't scan, how to clear memory? Says memory full

    I have a KM-5035 in the field that a customer has been using scan with no issues, they now call me for service and say they can't scan anymore, machine says memory full or no available memory or something...
    How can I clear memory space so they can scan again ?

      Can customer clear their scan memory through op-panel ?

      Or is there a scan memory clear through a 1087 U-simulation?

      Or what am I looking at doing here?

      I have service manual but generally work on Toshiba...

          Having the correct error message would be really nice, but I'll go out on a limb with partial information.

          Most likely your HDD died. Try to reformat it. The instructions are in that service manual. =^..^=
          If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                      Silly! He hasn't even been on-site. He doesn't even know what the error message is. He wants you to fix it for him over the phone, then be sure to send the check to him. =^..^=
